OVERVIEW
LightLOC SmartVault is designed to secure blood irradiation devices while providing access for personnel to use the device without the expense of securing the entire room that a blood irradiator is contained in.
Fiber optic wire is woven throughout the walls and support members of the vault preventing any attempt at accessing the device and radiation source without triggering an alarm. Attempts to cut through the walls, bend any of the supporting members or opening the vault will trigger an alarm and allow quick response to the security break. Security is provided while positioning strategic access locations at the front of the vault that allows staff to continue to operate equipment normally.
